RISSC MAIN ACTIVITIES ARE DESIGNED AROUND:

KNOWLEDGE – assessing criminal phenomena through a criminology-led interdisciplinary approach and key stakeholders main needs and requirements
ACTIONABLE INTELLIGENCE – translating the research results into operational knowledge to enhance the capacity of public and private stakeholders
INNOVATION – combining research with methods, technologies and innovative applications (e.g., tools, platforms…) to foster data gathering and visualisation, to improve the knowledge generation process and to contribute at achieving concrete outcomes
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE – providing LEAs, public and private stakeholders with expertise in the field of security related interventions and policymaking
COUNTERMEASURES and EVALUATION – designing, providing technical support and evaluating the initiatives aiming at preventing and mitigating the opportunities for crime and reducing the impact of criminal phenomena on society
